- High Efficiency, Low Noise Fans: "computer grade" fans require less than 1/10th the electrical power than most air conditioning systems, and 1/4 the power of old style propeller fans. High strength plastic fan blades and insulating foam and other sound damping techniques are used and reduce acoustic noise generation to <63 dB. Fan can also be switched by remote control to low speed further reducing noise.
- No Maintenance: once installed, Garbeck fans require no maintenance. Operational ratings for each fan is 60,000 hours.
- Insulated Enclosure: Garbeck fans include an insulation barrier in the fan cover, providing a thermal barrier to stop heat loss during winter months (approximate R21 insulating barrier). The insulated enclosure also provides damping to further reduce fan noise.
